Musical Exploration: The Learning Center exists to make music education available, practical, and culturally alive for young people in Historic Westside Las Vegas.

Founded by Karl "KC" Cousin, METLC brings lessons, production tools, performance opportunities, and mentorship into one neighborhood learning center. The work is simple and serious: give students a place to discover discipline, creativity, collaboration, and their own sound.
In the Historic Westside, the learning center gives families a local place to find musical instruction, creative structure, and a community that believes young people deserve access to the arts.
Open access to music education, recording, mentorship, and performance for Historic Westside youth.
No child turned away. Fundraising supports access when families cannot cover the full cost.

The METLC mark brings the learning center's work into one symbol: music in motion, students gathered in a creative circle, and a neighborhood space where young people can enter, practice, record, perform, and be heard.
It is used throughout the site as a reminder that the mission is both practical and personal. Every lesson, gift, and partnership helps keep that circle open.
